Oh yeah? Well, my baby does shots...

Chug Baby!! Chug!!!

And done!!! unfortunatly, she just had sausage as a chaser...

and just in case you think I am serious, I am not. That is just water. Shot glasses make great baby glasses. They are usually pretty thick, think they can't break when people drop them when they are drunk...and they are just the right size for little hands and mouths. Also they hold just enough water to get outfits wet, not the entire floor. She loves shot glasses more than her sippy which I am glad. Neither of the other girls really had a sippy.

I have lots of pictures of recent henna but had to show this one. It is actually an advanced design, had to see if I could do it. It actually turned out alright, Most of the smudges are actually from me trying to do my own hand. I am decently happy with it though. I am getting better, happy dance:)

almond roca

why why why is almond roca so good?I got another can of it and I have eaten too much of it already. But really, it is sooooo gooooooddddd. I am going to post a few pictures though this time. I am not going to ramble on about almond roca for a whole post, though I could. Can I tell ya'll that eating without braces is absolutely wonderful? Not having rice getting stuck, biting into carrots. Really, wonderful. I am happy.

so a flower Jack let me doodle on his back.

Gwen helping daddy brew

The girls actually did help. They capped bottles and then wrote PC, or CP on the bottles. Jack made prune chocolate beer. Yeah, not trying that. He says it is drinkable, but could use a cheesecake...

Gwen getting into my marshmellow fruity salad type very bd for you stuff at the park while I henna a belly.

I need pictures

yes I know. I can't download anything though until I delete things from my hard drive, yes, it is that full. So one day I will get around to that and post some pictures.
Until then, it has been a little crazy around here. Crazy good though. Layla had her birthday yesterday. We had a fun day. It is kinda odd to think of sometimes, I am now the mommy to a 6 yr old, a 4 yr old and a 1 yr old. It is weird. But anyway, Layla is 4 . Gwen is walking now. Still not using it as a form of transportation, but she is walking. More then the few steps. It is very sweet and she is so proud of herself. She is also getting to the let's stand on everything stage. Driving me slightly batty. But I know it passes. I just have to keep her out of the ER until it does.
And I just got my braces off, hours ago. They are gone! Gone!!! I feel a little weird, in some ways no different, but in other ways? They really were a part of me, of who I was for awhile. So it is weird, how many times can I add in weird here? So hopefully I can get around to deleting some pictures and post some things here soon.

Oh Gwen...

Gwen has never been umm, unadventurous. I think having two older sisters has something to do with it. Things just never seen to be beyond her reach. She has this sense of "I can do anything" It really is amazing and I have lots of confidence in her. Probably more than I did with the other two girls. Some of it may be due to this is the third time around and I really don't think babies are born stupid. If they were then well, how did we get to where we are? So I don't freak when she climbs around on the bed, she sees that she can fall and she usually doesn't. Having trust and confidence in your children is an amazing thing.
But still, we have been to the park a few times and I think I am going to kinda miss the just rolling, scooting Gwen I had last summer. But also, I have to admit that things were kinda easier. Just like everything I have seen with being a mom things get harder and easier all the time. There is always a balance. If it ever gets easy I fully expect my life to get crazy shortly after.
So some pictures of our park day. The older kids were a little freaked out that baby Gwen went off the tarp :) Tayla was so sweet to keep an eye on her. I fully expect these two to get into a good bit of trouble this year.

And you always think of Gwen as this sweet little love. But she seriously takes lessons from Layla for stink eye. Gwen definitely has an attitude. She doesn't show it often, but it is there, so watch out! Of course anyone in this family has to at least be able to compete with Layla.

some pictures of my henna experiments. Layla stays stiller than Natalie. Didn't think that would happen.
Hmmm, what else? Natalie lost her fourth tooth. So now she is missing her bottom two and top two. Her bottom adult teeth are almost in though. She just pulled out her other top tooth today.
We got food poisoned. The girls didn't get hit so bad. I can't say mine was bad compared to my friends, but it is still kicking my butt.
Gwen has a new nicname, Squawker. Se gets really upset when oh many things, too many to list. She was such a calm sweet baby, thought she was going to be kinda like Natalie. But not so much. Interesting, isn't it? To see them grow into their personalities?

so much for anti-social

I am sitting here eating guacamole and cheese, that is what Layla calls it:) Listening to a conversation outside my window. Hey, it is nice enough to have windows open. I can only hear one side of the conversation though, my girls talking to the giirl who lives in the apartment up from us.
They are sitting there, eating their guacamole and cheese telling this girl about the game they were playing, introducing themselves and about every other thime, "why don't you come play with us?" This girl won't tell them her name and just keeps walking away at odd times. I don't know why she isn't coming down. If I remember right she is older than Natalie. I could be wrong though. If it were my kid I would be shooing them out the door to go meet new people. So, anyone want to tell me that homeschoolers are anti-social? My girls are alright striking up a conversation with just about anyone, from birth to well, pretty old.
And by the way, the game they made up was really cute! I didn't get to hear all of it, but the trees back there are evil kid treehouses. And on our balcony is a dead spider where they can go and refill their powers to run from the monsters in the trees. This is where there is a problem though, Natalie says that there is a door for those monsters to get out, Layla disagrees. I love them and their imagination. No pictures, think of it as a test of your imagination, watching my girls running, hugging trees and eating guacamole and cheese.

Taking lessons from Huck...

So, Gwen was being really quiet and we look over and see this... Isn't she kinda funny? She seriously eats about as much as either of the girls. I am starting to see how much work it is just cooking for three people. It takes up a good bit of my day.
