The sugar sprite strikes

I so love the excitement on Layla's face. She was so happy and well words cannot describe.
Natalie handing Layla her dragon. I knew what Natalie was getting. I had no clue for Layla. She has been scared lately. I was really worried about trick or treating. I was hoping that with reassurance from us she would be fine. And for the most part she was. So she got a dragon for her bravery.
Natalie was excited to see her purse. Funny thing, she didn't remember picking it out. I was figuring she would put the night we went to Target and she saw it to the night I went to Target by myself together. But no, just pure happiness from getting a purse.
And their letters. I am thankful to have a book with the fairy alphabet in it. Natalie was proud of her fairy, she writes her letters well. She only messed up a few times. And yeah, well I only messed up a few times:)

The night before

Slighlty out of order. That is the perfect ring that resulted after Natalie redid every mushroom that Layla put out. It was kinda cute. By the way, needed the mushrooms, they were worried that the fairy wouldn't take the candy if there wasn't mushrooms. Must make the sprite comfortable.
Them putting all their candy in the circle. They were really so proud of the candy they collected for the sprite. They each got two pieces, the rest went to the sprite.
The pictures where they are both looking at me and smiling are oh so rare.

Halloween

My queens:) It was cold, but a really good trick or treat night. I think the babies who were held in carriers were the warmest. Gwen was my familar, okay, I wanted to dress up. There is a funky witch leg. The cat costume didn't really fit but it was a little more cover up for her. Really the only thing I made this year was there pillow case. I figured queens couldn't have just any old pillow case. It was late when we got home last night so we are setting up our candy for our sugar sprite tonight. We are all very excited. Since we don't do santa this is the closest thing we have to that.

Walk at Clear Creek

I just love the fall skirt next to the fall leaves.
We brought hot tea, and since this was supposed to be a quick trip, we didn't have any food. Thankfully, I hadn't brought the potato chips in from the car yet. Tea and chips, what else do you need?
Proof again that I exist. That is my new pouch, LOVE IT!!! Forgot to add. It is a French sling, I got it from Kelly, www.thegreenkangaroo.org And my sweater, I love it also. It fits well, and is pretty damn warm.
I love that they tilt their heads the same way when they smile. We went there on Saturday to see if we could see the salmon. We found out later that you need to wait for a good rain, we haven't had much rain lately. Not surprisingly, we didn't see any fish. But it was a fun day. They were doing search and rescue with dogs. So the girls got to meet a lot of dogs. They were all really friendly, and we got lots of kisses as you know, dogs like potato chips:)

Peanut sandwich made with jam stick stick stick

I made bread. You really don't understand. Try some wheat free/gluten free bread. That stuff isn't even fit for stuffing. And then go and try to find a recipe. Seriously, the ingredients list is insane. So I got a mix. The first one I tried, ehhh, alright. This one was so good. Of course I thought that when I took the first one out of the oven also. I think the bread starts to taste not so great once it cools.
I was actually hoping that the steam would show up on this picture.
But the thing is, I never thought I would need a fork to eat a peanut butter and jelly. More specifically, this is an almond butter with cherry preserves. Oh my god, yeah, I was just taking pictures to mess with the camera. But then I took a bite. I am full, but if I wasn't I would be making myself another. This was more like dessert. I think it is for sure the best pbj I have ever had. Or should I say abp?

We decided to get Gwen pierced...

Cute little earring, eh?
Or does it look better as a nose ring?
Natalie thinks it smells funny:)
