The New Year...

Okay, so it is the end of the first day of the new year. I have a very big start on my month here. I have entered a challenge to declutter my house. I need to get rid of 200 items this month:) Sounds like fun, eh? I also ordered a book this morning, a decluttering book. This is really something I want to do. I wonder how much happier we could have been in Hawaii if we weren't living with all of our crap. Jack and I were talking about moving to a smaller house next time. He promises me that he will help with the decluttering. I hope that he will work on the garage soon. I have no clue about anything in there. I get to do some work tomorrow. I am kinda excited and wondering how it is going to be to count items I am getting rid of. I wonder if I can count skiens of yarn that I make into useful items... So hopefully I can keep my progress on here. Today as we were trying to finish the floor in the dining room, Jack went out to get his stapler. He said it was broken. I told him to throw it out. No more of the oh this doens't work, i will throw it out later, we will throw out things as we see them. We have really changed our views on what we bring into our house, but we need to work of getting things out now also. Slowly but surely we will get this done.
