We had so much fun. A lot more fun than we did last year. Last year we didn't believe Washington sun could burn us, we were wrong. And we rushed through, waited too long to eat, and didn't rest. This time we got there early, we took a long leisurely lunch and then went back. We were there for a good five hours. We got to see a woman make a quill out of a feather and write with it. We got to talk to a blacksmith, who was making a handle for a pot. A woman who was making flat bread with barely. She out some hand churned butter with honey on it and we all got to try some. And the high point of my day was talking to the armour smith. I may take up a new hobby, making chain mail. It looked like a lot of fun, anyone want a mail shirt? I can't really think of a practical use for chain mail. Jack did pick up a throwing knife. He is teaching the girls, and me, how to kill the tree stump in our backyard:)
I need to share the happiest picture of Gwen I have ever taken. Jack was changing
her diaper after lunch. She usually is this happy, we just never have a camera in our hands.

And you know, I gave the camera to Jack to hopefully get a good number of pictures. He did actually get a few pictures that prove I exist:) And the reason you don't see many pictures of Gwen, she is on me. This is me trying to shove my breast in her mouth while looking at pottery.

Hey, Matt would be into a chain mail shirt - heck he was working on making a full suit of armour before he joined the Navy. It was looking pretty good - between the two of you - you may have something going. Love the pic of Gwen - she looks like a happy baby.
