Okay, I finally got the last of my eo's. And it has been cloudy, we haven't been outside and it is dark in my house. Which means no pictures of the girls, well except for the ones Layla has taken that are out of focus and blurry:) So to go on a natural family thing again. This is about a quater of the essential oils I got. And that is the awesome book I got to figure out how to use them. So far the uses are pretty awesome. I made a chest rub for Jack when he was sick and coughing. I made a belly rub for Layla when she was throwing up. And I just made up some sore muscle massage oil. I also use them for cleaning, with baking soda and vinegar. Hair care, have you realized that the uses are endless? :) In fact the second picture also has my trusty green spray bottle that is currently filled half water, half vinegar with some tree tea oil in it. I am sure in my next posts about almost anything natural family living related I will be telling you about how I have been using them.
And another note. See my new sneeznex boxes? I love the ones with flowers, but it was twice as expensive, so I only got one. They were at Target, letter box holders! I hadn't looked in office supplies before. So yea!!!

I suspect you have a great way of washing your cloth diapers... can you share that soon? I bought a huge thing of baking soda and two GALLONS of vinegar to try to start using more natural (and cheaper) cleaning supplies, but I'm afraid to let go of my laundry detergent!
Where do you get your essential oils?
I got the essential oils from this place http://essentialoils.org/
But come to find out they need to have a business name, that I stold from Sonja.
I just made up some laundry soap so I probably won't get to share that for awhile, we made a double batch, http://www.christian-mommies.com/special-features/just-for-moms/homemade-laundry-detergent/ they have some recipes. I used the powered one and added 5 drops of lemon and 5 drops of grapefruit eos to it. I figured a summer smell would be nice. When I do up my next batch I will probably do a wintery smell. I don't really do anything special with my diapers just wash them on hot with an extra rinse. But if the rain keeps up I may be doing a lot of natural living stuff on here:)
