The new living room

The before pictures of the basement. When we bought this house, this room was supposed to be my craft room. We left icky tiling down there so when I dyed and such it wouldn't ruin anything. We weren't going to rip down four whole walls of paneling because we have ripped it down before, and really, four walls? So, after Sonja showed me some pictures of paneling painted in two colors, I thought that it would be a good idea. Add that to the fact that it was miserable here when Jack's parents came to visit... and you get this

Okay, the real after pictures are down a little more, but isn't Gwen cute?:) I am really happy with the colors we picked out. Amazingly, Jack and I agreed on colors in record time. We still have work to do, but the sun is out now. Jack's leave is passing too horribly quick. We have been doing so much, okay, not work, but doing things with friends, that it seems to be going even quicker. Oh, and no, I won't be dyeing in this new room. I might be knitting though in the winter. The lighting down there is much better. So I said it many times while they were here, but thank you so much Phil and Judy. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! It is so awesome having ya'll visit. We miss you:)
