We have been using "hankies" Or cloth tissues for years now. I LOVE these. Really, I can't see why anyone would want to use anything else now. I have allergies, and my sneeznex, that is what the girls call them, really don't tear up your nose as much as the paper kind. The also don't throw up those paper flurries when you pull one out of the box. No lint in your pocket, if you wash one in your pocket you don't have a mess. They are also great to have on hand while at the park, they can clean up spills, they can be wetted down and used to wash faces and hands. They can be put over baby heads to be used as a sunblock. The uses are endless, I don't think you could say the same of the paper equivalent. Yes, there are reasons why we have stopped using paper products, but really a good part of it is that the cloth product is MUCH better. Yes, you do have to wash, but all of this washing adds up to maybe a half load every other day. And that is only because I usually like to wash the wipes every other day. Not much and we haven't shopped in the paper or cleaning isle of the grocery store for years. The money we have saved is pretty impressive also.
And yes, those sneeznexes are tie dyed. Makes them pretty. I am aso trying to figure out a nonplastic storage optiong for them. They have wood boxes, but none are quite the right size. So if anyone has ideas throw them out there:)

I'm having the same problem finding containers for our tp and tissues. :/ If I ever find anything I'll let you know.
And yeah, the other nasty thing about paper kleenex? Wiping runny noses and having it soak through to your hand. Ick! I don't have those with cloth.
build one figure out the dimensions you need then if you need a tool that you don't have we probably do. Maybe we could do a craft day & make some. But isn't that my solution, always? LOL. I still need to make some mama cloth. Maybe next weekend.
I bought a set of baskets from Bed, Bath & Beyond that are lined in fabric. I used one under my sink to hold all my towels and washcloths and the other went on the back of my toilet for wipes.
Target also has cute baskets. I am such a basket ho.
Hey if you have extra wool, like you'd have extra wool ;) you can knit a box and felt it in the washer. THat would be neat.
